Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. From her teens, she's been involved with the edges of both classical and pop music. Additionally, she explores genres including hip-hop, soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player of great talent, described her voice as one that was sweet with an old-fashioned sound. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial hit. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded the Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami is her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. In March 2022 the set began to be released in conjunction with Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to appear on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala as well as winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman ever to be awarded both.
